SNA, Mattos Filho and others on Amaggi–FS Bioenergia deal
Santos Neto advised Amaggi on the acquisition of a 40% equity stake in FS Bioenergia, one of the main players in corn ethanol production on the planet, controlled by Summit Agricultural Group, which was advised by Mattos Filho.
The deal is considered highly relevant for Amaggi for representing a new line of business for the company, with an exclusivity obligation to develop such activity. The complexity of the case derives from several interconnected matters. The signing occurred on May 11, 2026. The transaction was submitted to CADE approval on May 13, 2026, and is subject to other customary conditions precedent.
