Machado Meyer advises on Lins Agroindustrial debenture issuance

Machado Meyer acted as deal counsel on the 3rd issuance of debentures by Lins Agroindustrial, totaling BRL 150 million.

Structured under Law No. 12,431/2011, the issuance will finance the implementation of a production unit for ethanol, biofuels and biogas in the municipality of Lins, São Paulo. The project also includes the rehabilitation, modernization and maintenance of the company’s industrial facilities, with the aim of increasing operational efficiency and expanding production capacity.

The transaction supports investments in renewable energy and biofuels, including the expansion of ethanol and biomass-based electricity generation and the introduction of biogas production.

Machado Meyer advised Lins Agroindustrial and Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira. The team was led by partners Mariana Ferreira Rodrigues and Raphael Oliveira Zono, with the participation of associates Julia Gama Ribeiro Leite Saad and Vitor Pisarro Bradley de Araujo.
