ECIJA has appointed Arturo Guerrero as partner in Costa Rica
International law firm, ECIJA has announced the addition of Arturo Guerrero (pictured) as partner in Costa Rica, who becomes the seventh partner in the region.
Mauricio París, managing partner of ECIJA stated: “Arturo’s entry as partner was the logical step after having achieved a remarkable performance during the first year of his incorporation to the firm, not only in terms of billing and account attraction, but especially in his adaptation to our corporate culture and internal leadership in the firm.”
“Since I joined the firm, we had a clearly defined roadmap with the objective of becoming a partner. Even though I joined in the middle of the pandemic, we achieved extraordinary results thanks to the synergies with the team and the clients,” Arturo commented.
Arturo holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica, and a Master in Business Law from the University for International Cooperation. With more than 25 years of career, he focuses his practice on dispute resolution and Financial Law, having been a judge of the Republic. He has launched the insolvency practice in Costa Rica, and has served as arbitrator in commercial and construction matters. He is chairman of the Competition Commission of the local chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce, and an expert in Docdex rules of the International Chamber of Commerce.
