The lawyer José Carlos Berardo has just founded a new boutique in the Brazilian market. With more than 20 years’ experience in the competition, regulatory and compliance areas, and spells at renowned full-service Brazilian law firms (Lefosse and BMA)m he presents Berardo Advogados.
Based in São Paulo, Berardo Advogados opens its doors with Berardo at the helm, accompanied by two consultants. In addition to the three areas, the firm will also deal with issues related to technology and commercial contracts.
The broad professional experience of its founding partner, which includes having acted in some of the most emblematic Brazilian cases in the area of Competition and also in complex transnational investigations, enables the firm to advise clients on complex issues ranging from cross-border operations to those that require in-depth regulatory analysis of a particular sector or market.
According to Berardo, after more than two decades in large law firms, he realized that the time had come in his career when he felt the need to work in a smaller structure, with total dedication to clients.
