BKM counsels OPEC on $50m loan to Banco Continental
BKM Berkemeyer has counselled OPEC Fund for International Development (OPEC) on a USD 50 million syndicated cross-border loan to Banco Continental.
The funds will be used to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including those led by women, as well as agricultural and renewable energy projects.
The OPEC Fund for International Development is a multilateral financial organization founded in 1976 and composed of 12 shareholder countries. Its work is people-centered, focusing on financing projects to address essential needs, such as food, energy, infrastructure, employment (with an emphasis on SMEs), clean water, health and education.
