BMA and Cescon Barrieu advise on Compass-Navi group deal
BMA advised Vinci Compass on the acquisition of 100% of the real estate investment fund managers belonging to Navi Group. Cescon Barrieu Advogados represented Navi Group. Overa Capital acted as financial advisor on the deal. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Navi Group’s real estate platform is made up of two investment fund managers pursuing different strategies within the real estate sector, including four REITs listed on B3 and/or CETIP. BMA’s work spanned three practice areas: the Corporate/M&A team structured the transaction and drafted and negotiated the related contracts, the Due Diligence team analyzed the legal aspects of the target companies, their shareholders and the funds under management, and the Capital Markets team handled the legal and regulatory aspects of the investment funds acquired by Vinci Compass.
