Brazil´s Demarest incorporates insurance boutique

Brazilian firm Demarest Advogados has announced that it has incorporated insurance boutique JBO Advocacia.

 

JBO Advocacia´s former managing partner Marcia Cicarelli Barbosa de Oliveira will now head the insurance practice at Demarest.

Following the incorporation of the JBO Advocacia team, the Demarest insurance and reinsurance practice consists of a total of 20 professionals.

A Demarest statement said: “Demarest is sure that JBO Advocacia’s merger will bring even more benefits to clients, which will rely on the expertise of a law firm specialised in the insurance area with more than 20 years of experience.”
