Brazil’s KLA hires criminal law specialist from Veirano Advogados

Brazilian firm KLA has hired criminal law and compliance expert André Gustavo Isola Fonseca from Veirano Advogados 

 

Fonseca is a former state attorney of the State of Sao Paulo and has experience advising multinational and local companies on the implementation of FCPA and UK Bribery compliance programmes.

Isabel Franco, the partner who heads KLA’s anti-corruption & compliance group, said recruiting Fonseca was “essential to continue to grow the practice next year”.

São Paulo-based KLA, established in 2002, has 110 fee-earners.
