Bufete Aguirre and Quintanilla, Soria & Nishizawa launched new IP firm in Bolivia

Bolivian law firms Bufete Aguirre and Quintanilla, Soria & Nishizawa announced the integration of their respective IP practice groups into an independent operation. 

The new organisation, called Meliora IP SC – Intellectual Property Experts and Advisors, will be home to four lawyers, 2 from each law firm. It will be led by partners Perla Koziner and Julio Quintanilla, according to the announcement.

The move, considered a rarity in the conservative Bolivian legal market, is set to broaden the IP offering and bench strength of the practices. Bufete Aguirre, which launched an office in Santa Cruz last year, did not confirm if this development is a precursor of further integration.
