Carey advised on power deal for Santiago de Chile´s underground transport system

Carey advised SunPower on negotiating a Power Purchase Agreement to supply 60% of Metro’s energy demand.

Metro is a state-owned company which runs Santiago de Chile´s underground transport system. SunPower is a renewable energy company majority-owned by Total.

Partners Juan Francisco Mackenna and Felipe Moro led the Carey team providing local counsel to SunPower in Chile. The company instructed White & Case as US counsel.

Metro retained Cariola as counsel in Chile.
