Carey advises Altor on acquisition of 50% stake in Nova Austral
Carey has advised Altor Equity Partners, through its fund Altor Fund III, on the acquisition of Bain Capital’s 50% stake in Chilean company Nova Austral, consolidating 100% ownership in the company.
This transaction was carried out in conjunction with Norwegian law firm Thommessen, closed on 17 October and involved the jurisdictions of Norway, Spain, Luxembourg and Chile.
Thommessen’s team included partner Halvor Mansåker and associate Sander Kornelius Danielsen.
Carey’s team was led by partners Pablo Iacobelli (pictured left) and Guillermo Acuña (pictured right), with support from associates Josefina Marshall and Florencia Aleuanlli.
