Carey counsels Kingspan on acquisition of 51% of Villalba
Carey has locally counselled Kingspan Group on the acquisition of 51% of Villalba, a local market leader in steel building products.
This partnership strengthens Kingspan’s presence in Latin America and expands its capabilities in the building materials industry.
The transaction was completed on 22 November and involved the jurisdictions of Chile and Ireland. Deloitte acted as advisor to Kingspan in Ireland, while Prieto Abogados and Price Waterhouse Coopers acted as local and international advisors to the seller, respectively.
Kingspan is an Irish listed company with a presence in over 80 countries and a leader in the building materials industry.
Link Capital Partners acted as financial advisor through a team comprising Sergio Merino, Juan Pablo Altamirano and Cornelio Saavedra.
