Cariola assists Datamart in raising $6.3m in seed round
Cariola Díez Pérez-Cotapos has assisted Chilean fintech specialising in financial information technology, Datamart, in raising US$6.3MM in a seed round.
The transaction, closed on 16 February, also involved due diligence and corporate and tax matters. Shearman & Sterling acted as US counsel to Datamart.
Winston & Strawn also acted as advisor on the transaction, while Moonvalley Capital acted as financial advisor. Following this round, Banco Santander, Grupo Falabella and BICE became investors.
Cariola’s team comprised partners Rodrigo Lavados (pictured left) and Javier Cerón (pictured right), together with senior associate Francisca Salas and associates María José Reyes, José Tomás Espinosa and Brian Bustos.
