Ciari Moreira announces new tax partner
Ciari Moreira Advogados has announced the arrival of Alexandre Herlin (pictured) to further strengthen and consolidate its tax law practice. With more than 25 years’ experience, Herlin joins the firm to expand its advisory and litigation practice, advising domestic and foreign companies on strategic and highly complex issues.
Alexandre is recognized for his work advising domestic and foreign companies in various sectors such as finance, automotive, energy, oil, technology and cosmetics. His work encompasses both consultancy and administrative and judicial litigation, offering strategic support on complex tax issues.
A professor of International Tax Law at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), Herlin has a consolidated career in corporate law. Before joining Ciari Moreira Advogados, he was a partner at Duarte Garcia, Serra Netto e Terra, as well as working at Chediak Advogados and other prestigious law firms.
He has a postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET) and an MBA in Business Law from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC/RJ).
