CMS Carey & Allende boosts litigation and arbitration practice with new partner Tomás Bown
CMS Carey & Allende has announced the incorporation of Tomás Bown (pictured) as a new partner, further strengthening its litigation and arbitration practice. At just 35 years old, Bown represents a new generation of legal leaders, bringing extensive expertise in shareholder disputes, insolvency proceedings, corporate reorganizations, and litigation in the construction and mining sectors.
Bown holds a law degree magna cum laude from Universidad de los Andes and an LL.M. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law. His achievements include being recognized as “Rising Star of the Year in Litigation” by The Legal 500 Chile Awards in 2023 and “Next Generation Partner in Dispute Resolution: Litigation” by The Legal 500 Latin America 2025.
