Sofía Haupt and Enrique Vergara

CMS represents Mérieux in acquisition of Viamed

CMS Carey & Allende has represented Mérieux NutriSciences Chile, a food safety company, in the acquisition of Viamed Technical Laboratory, a laboratory specialised in the detection of drug residues and chemical contaminants in food for human and animal consumption and aquaculture.

This transaction was closed on 31 March, where Hub Legal acted as advisor to Viamed.

With this acquisition, Mérieux NutriSciences Chile continues to expand its presence and its offer of complete solutions for the salmon industry in Chile.

Hub Legal’s team included partner Diego Riveros and associate Joaquín Izquierdo G.
