Creel promotes Sofía Gómez as partner
Creel Abogados has announced the promotion of Sofía Gómez B. (pictured) as a new partner of the firm in the Labour and Employment practice.
Sofía joined the firm in 2021. She has extensive knowledge and experience practicing in all sub-specialties of labour law, such as individual and collective labour law, social security and immigration. She focuses her practice on advising on the management and administration of employee relations and trade union organisations. In coordination with the Corporate Law team, Sofía also participates in labour law audits related to Mergers & Acquisitions and Financing transactions.
Sofía holds a law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master’s degree in Labour Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho and a Master of Laws degree from the Pritzker School of Law, Northwestern University. She previously worked at Ius Laboris and at the law firm of Basham Ringe y Correa. She is a member of the Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa (ANADE), the American Bar Association and the Houston Bar Association.
