Davis Polk acted for Santander Chile on dual offerings

Davis Polk advised Santander Chile on a $185 million offering in Taiwan and another one, for CHF125 million, in Switzerland. 

Santander Chile is the country´s largest bank in total assets and equity. It operates in commercial banking, retail banking, asset management and insurance. It is a member of the Santander Group.

In Taiwan, the deal was a Regulation S offering of $185 million aggregate principal amount of floating-rate notes due 2021. In Switzerland, it was a Regulation S offering of CHF125 million aggregate principal amount of 0.350% fixed-rate notes due 2025.

Nicholas A. Kronfeld led the Davis Polk teams working on both deals.
