Tauil & Chequer Advogados recruits infrastructure partner in São Paulo

Tauil & Chequer Advogados announced the arrival of Bruno Aurélio as a new partner in the corporate and securities practice group in Sao Paulo. 

He joins from Cascione, Pulino, Boulos & Santos Advogados, where he led the infrastructure practice group. Prior to this role, Aurélio was an associate at Machado Meyer from 2008 till 2010.

Aurélio earned masters and doctoral degrees in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, where he now teaches post-graduate courses. He also served as special counsel for the Infrastructure Commission for the Federal Council of Brazilian Lawyers.

Tauil & Chequer Advogados was founded in 1992 in Rio de Janeiro. In 2009, the firm entered into an association agreement with Mayer Brown, the global law firm and became “Tauil & Chequer Advogados in association with Mayer Brown.” It now has over 30 partners across Rio, Sao Paulo, Vitoria and Brasilia.
