Debentures and CR’s generate BRL 212 bi in the first half of 2024
The scenario for raising funds using the issue of debentures and securitization operations (CRI, CRA, CR) was the subject of analysis in the most recent report on the Brazilian private credit market on TTR Data (ttrdata.com), which revealed issuance of 596 series with total funding of BRL 212 billion in the first half of 2024. These figures represent an increase in the total amount raised of 77% compared to the same period last year.
With regard to the debenture market, 267 series were issued with a total funding of total funding of BRL 176 billion in the first half of 2024, a percentage increase of 103% when compared to the same period last year. As for the securitization market, 309 CRI/CRA/CR series were issued with total funding of BRL 36 billion, an increase of 3.6% compared to the same period last year.

Debentures: As for the ranking of legal advisors, Stocche Forbes Advogados leads by value, accounting for a total of BRL 48.6 billion. By number of issues, Machado Meyer Advogados leads with 59 issues.
In the ranking of Fiduciary Agents, Pentágono DTVM leads in terms of volume and number of issues, acting in 117 issues, accounting for BRL 96.5 billion. As for the ranking of lead coordinators, Banco Itaú BBA leads in volume and also in number of issues, acting in 49 issues and accounting for BRL 75.4 billion.
CRI: As for the ranking of legal advisors, Pinheiro Guimarães leads by value, accounting for a total of BRL 4.3 billion. By number of series, Lobo de Rizzo Advogados, acting in 17 series.
In the ranking of Fiduciary Agents, Oliveira Trust DTVM leads in terms of volume and number of series, acting in 120 series, accounting for BRL 9.4 billion. In the ranking of of leading coordinators, XP Investimentos leads in terms of volume, accounting for BRL 5.1 billion, while BTG Pactual Investment Banking leads in number of transactions, in 19 series.
CRA: As for the ranking of legal advisors, the law firm Machado Meyer Advogados leads the way in terms of volume and number of series, accounting for a total of BRL 3.7 billion and 19 series advised.
In the ranking of Fiduciary Agents, Oliveira Trust DTVM leads the way in terms of number of series and volume, acting in 53 series and accounting for BRL 4.4 billion issued. In the ranking of lead coordinators, XP Investimentos leads in terms of volume, accounting for R$ 5.1 billion, while BTG Pactual Investment Banking leads the way in terms of number of series, with participation in 19 series.
