Dias Carneiro advises on the acquisition of Protega by Stefanini

Dias Carneiro Advogados advised on transaction which Stefanini, acting through Safeway, a company that is part of the Stefanini Cyber group, acquired an equity interest in Protega to enhance its security portfolio.

Protega, headquartered in Campinas (SP), has a client base of over 300 clients, including Crefisa, Hapvida, Yamaha Motors, Sicoob, Unimed, and major banks. Currently, Protega operates in three main areas: Security Operations Center (SOC)/Managed Security Services (MSS); governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) consulting; and, finally, integration of software and hardware from leading manufacturers such as Trend Micro, Fortinet, Senha Segura, Tenable, IBM Security, and Forcepoint.
