Echecopar helps Banco Security in loan to Hotelero Global del Perú

Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has advised Banco Security, a Chilean bank, in the granting of a loan in favour of Consorcio Hotelero Global del Perú, a company in the hotel sector, in the amount of USD 18,500,000.00.

The funds will be used to provide resources to A3 Property Investment SpA (A3), a company related to the borrower, to enable A3 to repay the loan granted to it by Banco Security, as well as for corporate purposes of the borrower.

Under the aforementioned loan, certain guarantees were provided by the borrower’s related companies and by the borrower itself. The borrower established an asset trust as security in favour of Banco Security over a property owned by the borrower on which the Hotel Pullman San Isidro is built.
