Echecopar represents El Platanal on $75m loan
Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has represented Compañía Eléctrica El Platanal in a loan for USD 75’000,000.00 granted by Banco de Crédito e Inversiones (Miami Branch).
The objective is to use the funds to partially finance the acquisition of 100% of the shares issued by Termochilca, as well as the collection rights corresponding to a syndicate of lenders arising from receivables under certain loan agreements, and the totality of certain corporate bonds issued by Termochilca.
