Estudio Echecopar counsels Banco de Crédito del Perú in loan to UNACEM
Estudio Echecopar, a member firm of Baker & McKenzie International, acted as legal advisor to Banco de Crédito del Perú in connection with a S/ 225’000,000.00 unsecured loan granted to UNACEM Corp and UNACEM Perú. The loan proceeds will be used to refinance the borrower’s existing debt with the lender.
The transaction involved the preparation, execution, and delivery of complex financing documents tailored to meet the lender’s requirements under Peruvian law.
UNACEM Group, a key player in Peru’s cement industry, sought this refinancing as part of its broader strategy to optimize its financial structure and ensure operational stability.
This transaction reflects the lender’s commitment to supporting the strategic growth of its clients in the region.
