Estudio Muñiz counsels thyssenkrupp on restructuring
Estudio Muñiz has counselled thyssenkrupp AG on the Peruvian chapter of the restructuring of its economic group.
This transaction was carried out in conjunction with the global firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, with the aim of separating the group’s business units and making the sale of the shares of thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions (Peru) viable for a value of approximately €43 million, in addition to the incorporation of thyssenkrupp Polysisus Peru.
Thyssenkrupp is an international company based in Germany, operating with three divisions including steel, capital goods and services. It currently has a presence in China, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Chile and Mexico.
Estudio Muñiz’s team included partners Sergio Oquendo Heraud (pictured), Andrea Jara Amézaga and Jorge Otoya, along with associates Alesandra Azcárate and Judith Puerta.
