Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano announced the hiring of Claudia Martinez, an associate who specializes in Chinese investment into emerging economies.
Martinez joins from Roselló Abogados in Lima where she headed the Asian desk and spent six months as a foreign lawyer at DeHeng Law Offices in Beijing. She was recently named Young Sinologist by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.
Martinez holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics from the UIBE Business School in Beijing and a Degree in Law from the Catholic University of Santa María, in Peru.
Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano is home to an active team of Asian experts led by partner Jose Tam and associate Fernando Hurtado de Mendoza. Tam chairs the Peruvian Chinese Chamber of Commerce while Hurtado de Mendoza acts as vice chair of the cross border investment committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association, based in Japan.
