Gaiofato e Galvão establishes partnership with CRD Brunna Vallim

Gaiofato and Galvão signed a Partnership Agreement with the Brunna Valim Center for Reference and Defense of Diversity (CRD Brunna Vallim).

This agreement aims to formalize the partnership between Gaiofato e Galvão and CRD Brunna Vallim to provide legal advice and financial support for the process of name and gender adjustment in the civil register in relation to the gender identity of transgender people.

The managing partner Ronaldo P Galvão (pictured left), head of people Angelo Sordi Junior (pictured center), and digital law coordinator Carolina Albim (pictured right) are members of the committee and are leading the project with the CRD. The firm’s volunteer lawyers will use the structure of CRD Bruna Vallim, whose headquarters are in República, a central area of São Paulo.

The organization CRD Brunna Vallim, linked to the Municipal Department of Human Rights and Citizenship, is part of the network of assistance to LGBTQIA+ people and aims to guarantee rights that are often denied to those who belong to the community.

In this sense, CRD Brunna Vallim promotes actions for the social inclusion of users registered in the service, assists victims of violence, prejudice, and discrimination, and seeks to minimize the risks and damages to which these individuals may be exposed.

The partnership is the result of a project initiated by the company’s Social Committee, in partnership with the Personnel Area, which had already been developing specific volunteer actions and implementing measures to help build a fairer and more equal society. Such initiatives attract so much attention that they provoked the spontaneous involvement of associated lawyers.
