GP assists in sale of stake of Mercantil Colpatria in Mineros

Gómez-Pinzón has assisted Mercantil Colpatria, and its subsidiaries Vince Business Corp, Vince Business Colombia and Banderato Colombia in the sale of a stake in Mineros to Sun Valley Investments.

The deal involved the Canadian and Colombian jurisdictions in two closings representing a sale of 24.99% of the seller’s interest in the company. Fasken Martineau DuMoulin acted as counsel to Mercantil Colpatria and its subsidiaries in Canada.

Gómez-Pinzón’s team was led by partners Juan David Quintero (pictured left) and José Luis Suárez Parra (pictured centre) and senior associate Juan Pablo Caicedo De Castro (pictured right).
