HD adds Mauricio Riesco as new director
Honorato Delaveau has added Mauricio Riesco (pictured) as the new head of the firm’s Energy, Mining and Natural Resources practice.
Mauricio is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, LL.M. specialised in Natural Resources and Energy from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP), and holds a Diploma in Natural Resources Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica. He has extensive experience advising on the development and operation of energy, mining and infrastructure projects.
Prior to his incorporation he was senior legal counsel at Antofagasta Minerals and previously worked as a lawyer at Generadora Metropolitana, foreign associate at InfraShare Partners Limited, counsel at Comisión Nacional de Riego, associate at Aninat Schwencke & Cia, and paralegal at Barros & Errázuriz.
He is currently a member of the Chilean Bar Association and a member of the Chilean Mining Chamber.
