H&K counsels IDB Invest in sustainable bond subscription for Banco Finadina

Holland & Knight, through its Bogota office, has counselled the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest), as investor, on a subscription of 120 billion Colombian pesos (approx. USD $30 million) worth of sustainable bonds for Banco Finandina BIC.

Banco Finandina will issue the bonds on the Colombian Stock Exchange (BVC). In addition, the issuance is expected to support the growth of Banco Finandina’s green and social portfolio. The agreement was signed on 24 July.

IDB Invest, as a member of the Inter-American Development Bank Group, is a multilateral development bank committed to promoting the economic development of its member countries in Latin America and the Caribbean through the private sector. IDB Invest provides financing to sustainable enterprises and projects with the objective of achieving financial results while maximizing the economic, social and environmental development of the region.
