JDF appoints two new partners

Chilean law firm Jara del Favero has announced the appointment of directors Alfred Sherman Leinenweber from the Labour area; and Julio Trucco Vera, from the Real Estate area as new partners of the firm.

In this regard, Julio said: “We want to continue to enhance and strengthen the process of expansion and specialization of our Real Estate team, through the study and permanent updating, and the delivery to our clients of innovative, efficient, effective and excellent legal solutions and advice”.

Alfred (pictured left) joined the firm in 2017 and is part of the area specialising in Labour Law and Social Security. A lawyer from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, he obtained a Master’s degree in Labour Law and Social Security from the same university, a Diploma in Labour Law in Business from the Universidad de los Andes and a Diploma in Collective Law from the Universidad Diego Portales. He advises clients in various areas of individual and collective labour law, collective bargaining, labour litigation, especially dismissal, protection of fundamental rights, work accidents and anti-union practices. He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.

Julio (pictured right) has been with JDF since 2013 and works in the Real Estate and Corporate areas. He holds a law degree from the Universidad de los Andes, a Diploma in Real Estate Law from the same university, an LLM with mention in Business Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Diploma in Urban Development and Construction Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. He advises clients from multiple sectors in the development of real estate, mining, agro-industrial, industrial and entertainment projects; business structuring, due diligence processes, mergers, acquisitions, title studies, urban planning and construction matters, various contracts and is a permanent lawyer for national and foreign companies. He is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
