Jones Day, Cleary Gottlieb and Paul Hastings instructed on Mexico City airport credit facility

Jones Day’s Mexico City office advised Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de Mexico (GACM) on an agreement for a $3 billion revolving credit facility provided in the form of a syndicated loan.

HSBC acted as administrative agent on the facility, with Citigroup and JP Morgan acting as global coordinators.

The credit facility will be used to finance the construction of a new international airport for Mexico City.

Alberto de la Parra and Mauricio Llamas from Jones Day’s Mexico City office advised GACM. 

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton advised GACM on the New York law aspects of the deal. The bank syndicate was advised by Paul Hastings on New York law and Galicia Abogados on Mexican law.
