Lefosse announces expansion of law practices

Lefosse announced its new head partner of the compliance, investigations and white-collar law practice, Adriana Dantas (pictured). She joins the office with three other professionals, all of them with expertise in compliance, investigations, government enforcement, and international trade matters.
Adriana has more than 20 years of experience in compliance, internal investigations (with a focus on multi-jurisdictional investigations), white-collor defense and intenational trade matters.

Chairperson of the Sanctions Committee of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), an international administrative court of appeals for cases involving corruption, fraud, or formation of a cartel in projects financed by the Bank in Latin America. She is the first woman to hold such an office.

Adriana recently left the Integrity Committee of Petrobras’ Board of Directors. She holds a Ph.D. in International Economic Law from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) Law School, a Master’s degree from the University of London, King’s College and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidade de Brasília (UnB).

She advises national and multinational clients on matters including administrative defenses, negotiation of leniency agreements, internal investigations, crisis management, designing, implementing, and monitoring integrity and compliance programs, as well as matters related to sanctions and commercial defense. She also worked as a lawyer in Washington (USA), between 2006 and 2011, in Geneva (Switzerland), from 2002 to 2003, and in London (United Kingdom), in 2001.
