TACTIC grows its team with new partner, associates and manager

Costa Rican law firm TACTIC Estudio Legal has announced the appointment of Álvaro Cedeño (pictured) as a new partner, as well as the incorporation of Amado Sánchez as general manager and a team of five lawyers.

Álvaro Cedeño Molinari studied law at the University of Costa Rica, and holds master’s degrees in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University, and in peace and conflict transformation from the University of Tromsø, Norway. He has 25 years of experience in international negotiations and has worked for twelve years in diplomacy, serving as Costa Rican Ambassador to Japan (2011-2014) and to the World Trade Organization (2015-2018). In recent years, he has been involved in corporate diplomacy consultancy and the development of leadership skills for the convergence between climate action and digital transformation.

For his part, Amado Sánchez Harding has more than 24 years of experience in the area of administration, management, customer service and continuous corporate improvement. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration, a law degree and is a Notary Public.

Finally, the team of new associate lawyers is composed of: Sylvia Clark Escalante, specialist in Corporate Law and advising transnational companies; Karen Campos Sandoval, specialist in the area of litigation, with an emphasis on civil, criminal and collection litigation; Jean Carlo Díaz Chacón, specialist in Public Law, particularly in administrative contracting; Maureen Rodríguez Acuña, specialist in Labour Law and Labour dispute resolution; Eric Morales Matarrita, specialist in civil and collection litigation, with experience in Banking Law.

These additions, together with the recent appointment of Alfonso Liao as partner in June, bring the firm’s team to a total of 14 lawyers.
