Lefosse assists BB Asset in the structuring of commodities ETFs
Lefosse assisted BB Gestão de Recursos – Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, a subsidiary of Banco do Brasil, and UBS Brasil Corretora de Câmbio, Títulos e Valores Mobiliários, as deal-counsel, in the structuring and offering of quotas of the BB ETF Índice Futuro de Milho B3 Fundo de Índice and BB ETF Índice Futuro de Boi Gordo B3 Fundo de Índice, exchange-traded investment funds regulated by CVM Rule No. 359/01 (respectively, “ETF Milho” and “ETF Boi”, and jointly, the “Funds”), both traded in the Brazilian stock exchange (B3).
UBS BB acted as lead coordinator in the offering of the both the Funds.
The project involved advice on structuring, regulatory, capital markets and tax matters, as well as the drafting and negotiation of the Funds’ documents and assistance with the public offering of the Funds’ quotas.
