Machado Meyer advised Neuraxpharm on the acquisition of Libber
Machado Meyer Advogados acted as legal counsel to Neuraxpharm, a leading European specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) disorders, in the acquisition of equity interest representing 100% of the capital stock of Libber Pharma Importação e Distribuição de Medicamentos, currently held by the founding equityholders.
Closing of the transaction is subject to fulfillment of customary conditions precedent for this king of transaction.
The transaction represents the start of the operations of Neuraxpharm, a relevant player in the pharmaceutical business, in Brazil, where it does not operate yet.
