Marval counsels BNP Paribas on sale of Cardif Seguros and Cardif Servicios
Marval O’Farrell Mairal has counselled BNP Paribas, a renowned international financial group, on the sale of Cardif Seguros and Cardif Servicios, companies providing insurance and related services, to Grupo ST, an economic group with extensive experience and recognition in the Argentine private sector, and to other Argentine investors, all advised by Salaverri Burgio and Wetzler Malbrán.
The transaction had been entered into on 30 June 2023 and closed on 11 December 2023 following approval by the Argentine Superintendency of Insurance.
Marval’s team was led by partners Gabriel Matarasso (pictured left) and Luciano Ojea Quintana (pictured right), with support from associates Juan Pablo Lentino, Javier Emilio Redondo and Victoria Negro.
Salaverri’s team was composed of partners Germán Wetzler Malbrán, Leonardo Bujía and Miguel Haslop, and associates Rodrigo Durán Libaak, Daniela Berisso and Luciana Malito.
