Monteiro Rusu and Lobo de Rizzo acted on issuance of Cemig
Monteiro Rusu Advogados advised the underwriters; Lobo de Rizzo advised the issuer on the 10th issuance of simple debentures, non-convertible into shares, in two tranches, of Cemig Distribuição, for public distribution, according to CVM Rule 160, under firm commitment of Banco Votorantim; Itaú Unibanco, and UBS Brasil Corretora De Câmbio, Títulos E Valores Mobiliários, in the total amount of BRL 2 billion.
The net resources raised from the first tranche shall be used for cash flow and reimbursement of investments.
The net resources raised from the second tranche shall be used for expansion, renewal or improvement of the electricity distribution infrastructure, in accordance with Law nr. 12431.
