Multiple firms act on the acquisition of QSaúde by Alice
Pinheiro Neto Advogados and Oliveira Rodarte Advogados advised Alice Operadora on the acquisition of health insurance portfolio of QSaúde Operadora de Planos de Saúde which was advised by Mattos Filho and Spinelli Advogados.
Alice and QSaúde represent leading healthtech companies within the Brazilian health insurance industry, and the transaction involved the structuring of the portfolio transfer agreement, analysis of complex issues considering the healthtechs business models, and procedure for prior approval by the relevant regulatory agency (National Supplementary Health Agency – ANS).
The transaction was approved by the National Supplementary Health Agency – ANS and as of June 1, 2023, upon the completion of the purchase process of QSaúde’s portfolio, Alice will become the Brazilian largest healthtech company, and will double its projected revenue for 2023 to the BRL 250 million mark.
