Olivares promotes two new partners
Mexican law firm Olivares has announced the promotion of Rommy Morales and Jaime Rodríguez as new partners.
Rommy Morales (pictured left) joined the firm in 2008, and has been focusing her practice on pharmaceutical patent prosecution and defence in Mexico for more than 16 years. She advises national and international clients in relation to the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. Rommy co-heads Olivares’ Patent Group, overseeing all patent filing and prosecution processes, as well as supervising a team in this area. She is regularly involved in life sciences litigation involving commercially valuable pharmaceutical products.
Jaime Rodríguez (pictured right) has been with Olivares since 2007, where he has specialised in IP law, which is reflected in his postgraduate and masters studies. This experience has enabled him to achieve success in various areas of IP, including impressive results in litigation, as well as notable results in copyright matters. Jaime has also served as a lecturer at various educational institutions and has published numerous articles related to his practice and the law.
