Padis Mattar advises Andrade Gutierrez on its debt restructuring
Padis Mattar Advogados advised Andrade Gutierrez International and certain of its affiliates (AG) in the comprehensive restructuring of their U.S. law-governed bonds.
The restructuring included the reduction of AG’s existing bond debt by R$1,058 million as a result of a tender offer consummated in September 2022, and the exchange of the remaining bond debt through a consensual extrajudicial reorganization plan confirmed in only 60 days by the Brazilian courts.
The new bonds were issued on December 21, 2022, in an aggregate principal amount of US$391.4 million due 2029 and US$63.3 million due 2040.
