Pinheiro Neto announces six new partners

Pinheiro Neto Advogados has announced six new partners: Camila Martino Parise (pictured top left), Cauê Rezende Myanaki (pictured top center), João Rafael L. Gândara de Carvalho (pictured top right), Natalia Lugero de Almeida (pictured bottom left), Vinicius Pimenta Seixas (pictured bottom right), and Tiago Eler Silva (pictured bottom center). All will assume their new positions at the beginning of next year.

The newly elected partners will strengthen the firm’s practice in areas such as Life Sciences & Healthcare, Corporate M&A, Capital Markets, Private Equity, Tax, and Compliance and Corporate Crimes. With these promotions, the firm will have 117 partners as of January.

Camila Martino Parise – Life Sciences & Healthcare | Public Law: With more than 20 years in the firm, Camila represents local and international clients in the healthcare sector. Her experience includes providing regulatory advice to clients interested in establishing businesses in Brazil, in M&A transactions, reorganizations and divestitures, in addition to licensing agreements, strategic alliances, technology transfer, advice involving pricing, clinical research, labeling, telemedicine, cannabis products, among other industry-specific issues. Camila has a law degree from Unip and a post-graduate degree in Administrative Law from FGV.  

Cauê Rezende Myanaki – Corporate, M&A | Capital Markets | Private Equity: With 19 years in the firm, Cauê has vast experience in advising local and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, public company governance, private equity, administrative proceedings before the CVM, and stock compensation plans. He holds a law degree from PUC-SP, a specialization in Corporate Law from FGV, and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago Law School. Admitted to the New York State Bar, he was a foreign associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.

João Rafael L. Gândara de Carvalho – Tax | Social Security | International Trade and Customs Law: João has been advising domestic and foreign clients on tax, social security, and customs matters, in both litigation and consulting, for direct and indirect taxes for 18 years at the firm. He holds a master’s degree and a law degree from UERJ.

Natalia Lugero de Almeida – Compliance and Corporate Crimes: Natalia is specialized in white-collar crimes and Compliance. She works in the office since 2006 and has extensive experience in criminal litigation and internal investigations. She has a law degree from PUC-SP and a post-graduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from IBCCRIM – Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences and from Coimbra University Law School.

Vinicius Pimenta Seixas – Tax: Vinicius has worked in the tax area for 13 years, focusing on tax issues relating to foreign investments in Brazil, business combinations, corporate reorganizations, real estate deals, transactions involving investment funds, and operations in the financial and capital markets, including project finance, means of payments, and fintechs in general. He has a law degree from FGV and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Taxation from New York University (NYU). He has worked as an international associate in Japan and Luxembourg, and besides Brazil, he is also qualified to practice in New York.  

Tiago Eler Silva – Corporate, M&A | Private Equity: Tiago Eler has been with the firm since 2015 advising clients on Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Private Equity, Venture Capital, Public Companies and Corporate Disputes in a wide range of industries, including aviation, energy, mining, telecommunications, healthcare, insurance, financial market, real estate, chemical and retail. He has a degree in Law from UFMG and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
