Pinheiro Neto assists Lavoro in its extrajudicial reorganization

Pinheiro Neto assisted Lavoro Agro Holding in its extrajudicial reorganization, while Machado Meyer acted as legal advisor to one of the main creditors United Phosphorus Limited (UPL), an Indian multinational specializing in agrochemicals.

Lavoro is Brazil’s largest agricultural inputs retailer and redistributor, controlled by Patria Investimentos. The firms negotiated the Extrajudicial Reorganization Plan, Supply Agreement, and related documents.

The petition for extrajudicial reorganization was filed on June 18, 2025, restructuring a total amount of approximately BRL 2.2 billion (USD 400.9 million).
