Serrano Martínez CMA adds partner to open Environmental area

Serrano Martínez CMA has announced the incorporation of Natalia Núñez Vélez (pictured), who will lead the firm’s new area of Environmental and Sustainability Law.

Natalia is a national reference in Environmental Law, with more than 25 years of experience advising important national and international companies in matters of corporate environmental law, sustainable practices, renewable energies, environmental regulation, land use planning, management of protected areas, climate change, sanctioning processes, environmental transactions, due diligence, management of environmental liabilities and risk management.

She also has solid experience in regulatory matters related to water, community management, environmental permits, concessions and licenses. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at firms such as Pinilla González & Prieto Abogados and Posse Herrera Ruiz, in addition to having served as environmental legal director at Grupo Argos and Grupo Manuelita.

She is a lawyer from Universidad De La Sabana, a specialist in Business Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and a specialist in Environmental Law from Universidad del Rosario. She is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development, Renewable Energies and Agenda 21 from EUDE Business School Environment.
