Several firms in issuance of Treasury Bills of Province of Chubut
DLA Piper, Lorente & López Abogados and Martínez de Hoz & Rueda have advised on the issuance of Negotiable Obligations Series XCIX Class 1 and 2, and Negotiable Obligations Series C Class 1 and Class 2 of the Province of Chubut.
The issues were made on February 23 and March 23, 2023, for a total amount of ARS $6,228,304,000, under the Province’s Negotiable Obligations Issuance Programme.
The Series XCIX Class 1 and Class 2 Treasury Bonds mature on March 23, 2023 and May 25, 2023, and the Series C Class 1 and Class 2 Treasury Bonds mature on April 26, 2023 and June 21, 2023. The principal is payable in full at maturity and bears interest at the higher of (i) a fixed annual nominal rate; and (ii) the sum of the BADLAR rate plus a fixed margin determined at the tender.
DLA Piper Argentina advised the Province of Chubut, as issuer; and Lorente & López Abogados advised Banco del Chubut, as arranger, underwriter and financial agent of the province. Martínez de Hoz & Rueda advised Puente Hnos, Banco de Servicios y Transacciones, Global Valores, Balanz Capital Valores and Banco Comafi as placement agents for the Series XCIX Treasury Bonds; and Puente Hnos, Banco de Servicios y Transacciones, Global Valores, Balanz Capital Valores, Banco Comafi and Banco Patagonia, as placement agents for the Series C Treasury Bonds.
