Stocche Forbes and Lefosse in the issuance of Cia Melhoramentos
Stocche Forbes Advogados acted as legal counsel to Companhia Melhoramentos Norte do Paraná in its public offering with restrict placement efforts of the fourth issuance of debentures, pursuant to Instruction CVM 476, in the total amount of BRL 230 million.
Lefosse has acted as advisor for Banco Itaú BBA (lead underwriter).
The net proceeds raised by the company through the issuance will be used for investments related to the expantion, recovery and maintaince of the sugarcane cultivation areas destined for production of ethanol in the 2021 and 2022 crops of the production units owned by the company located in the cities of Jussara and Nova Londrina, in the state of Paraná.
In addition, the net proceeds raised by the company through the issuance will be used to pay debts, expenses or costs related to the project implementation.
