TCA assists in issue of Grupo Agroempresa
Tanoira Cassagne Abogados has assisted in the issuance of Grupo Agroempresa Series II trust debt securities, under the global programme of Grupo Agroempresa trust debt securities.
Banco CMF acted as trustee and issuer, while Agroempresa Colón acted as trustor, in the issue with an aggregate total amount of $261,655,871.
In addition, Banco CMF acted as placement agent, together with Banco Mariva and Banco Supervielle, who acted as placement agents of the Trust.
The Financial Trust was set up within the framework of the National Securities Commission’s General Resolution No. 870 with the purpose of financing the Trustor with the assignment in favour of the Trust of deferred payment cheques originated in the sale of agricultural inputs to distributors and producers.
The Programme was authorised by the National Securities Commission on 17 February 2022, and on 16 May 2022 the Trust and the public offering of the trust debt were authorised.
