Two firms act on the acquisition of Serglobal by BTG
Pinheiro Neto advised BTG on the acquisition of 100% of Serglobal Participações, the parent company of Sertrading group, an important player in foreign trade focused on import transactions, which was advised by Mattos Filho.
The transaction value was confidential and is subject to the fulfillment of certain conditions precedent, such as approval by the Brazilian antitrust authority (CADE) and the Brazilian central bank (BACEN).
With the closing of the transaction, the sellers will become shareholders of Banco BTG and will continue to hold their position as executives in Sertrading.
