Veirano Advogados and Mattos Filho advised the transaction highlighted by TTR in the first quarter of 2022
Veirano Advogados and Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados were mentioned on the transaction highlighted by TTR TTR (Transational Track Record) in the first quarter of 2022: the completion of the sale of the Salitre phosphate mining project in Brazil of Yara Brasil Fertilizantes to EuroChem Brasil. The transaction value was USD 452.00m.
Veirano Advogados represented Yara (Brazil) led by partners Ricardo Veirano (pictured top left) and Diego Lerner (pictured top right); Norton Rose Fulbright (UK) also advised Yara.
Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados represented Eurochem and had partners Rodrigo Egual de Carvalho (pictured bottom left) and Adriano Drummond Cançado Trindade (pictured bottom right). Dentons (UK) also represented the same partie.
The deal is one of 569 transactions registered in the first quarter of 2022, totaling BRL 63.9bn.
According to TTR , these figures represent a 19% increase in the number of transactions compared to the same period in 2021. Of the total transactions, 46% have disclosed values and 74% of the transactions have already been completed.
The Internet, Software & IT Services sector was the most active during the period, with a total of 102 transactions, representing a 37% decrease compared to the same period in 2021. In second place is the industry-specific Software sector, with 91 transactions.
