Vouga assists CAF in granting $50m credit facility

Vouga Abogados has assisted CAF – Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina, in the granting of an uncommitted credit line in favour of the state-owned Banco Nacional de Fomento for up to USD $50,000,000.

Thanks to this transaction, the Banco Nacional de Fomento will be able to finance its clients qualified as micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to mitigate the effects of the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and support the economic recovery process in Paraguay.

The consultancy involved the negotiation of the credit line contract with the state entity, as well as assistance in the drafting of the financing documents, in the due diligence to the bank and the disbursement of the loan.
